315W CDM 942 GRO Lamp

These lamps are used with suitable CDM (ceramic discharge metal-halide) / CMH (ceramic metal halide) fixtures.

The lamp has a double glass jacket. As the light emitted by a CMH is akin to natural sunlight, its spectrum is closer to that of natural sunlight, so that plants are getting a wider range of wavelengths than other lights can produce.

NOTE: When first lighting the lamp it needs to be run continuously for a minimum of 15 minutes. This allows the metals in the lamp to fuse correctly. NOT DOING THIS WILL RESULT IN LAMP FAILURE!
