Greenthumb Hydroponics is South Africa’s premium grow-shop. We opened our 1st walk-in store in 2014. We upgraded to our current store in August 2019 thanks to our loyal customers.

From start to finish, we have all the products you need to ensure your grow is optimal. From growing media and nutrients to lights and fans, indoor growing or outdoor growing, Greenthumb is the one-stop shop.

Our products are priced fairly and are sourced from all over the world, including some Proudly South African products. Our friendly staff have a wide range of knowledge and can assist with many different questions you may have. With us on your side, your grow will be the best that it can possibly be.

We ship all over South Africa and all our packaging is discrete so your privacy is well reserved. Our website has lots of information under the Info and FAQ page on Hydroponics and even the beginner can get started.

Golden Goose took over the shop in Olivedale/Randburg in the last quarter of 2024, and has steadily increased its inventory in that time.
