WHY USE A CONTROLLER
During winter, you should adjust the intake airflow in your grow room, allowing your heaters and grow lights to compensate. During summer, turn up the EC fan to maintain an optimal temperature. The controller adjusts the temperature via the thermostat setting and the max/min controls. Set the temperature to the ideal level and the controller will regulate the fan's output to match the temperature in the grow room.
To maintain negative pressure in your grow room, use a smaller intake fan.
The plug-and-play product is powered from the fan, so there is no need for a power pack. You can adjust an intake fan by using a Y-splitter cable.
We recommend that you place the temperature sensor in the middle of your grow room.
Comes with a 5m male-to-male active cable.
Plugs directly onto Systemair’s EC fan range.
Temperature Dial:
The maximum temperature you want in your grow room. Your bandwidth is always 2ºC. The controller will increase your fan speeds by 2ºC before your maximum temperature is reached.
Min Fan Speed:
The minimum speed a fan needs to run at for CO2, odour and humidity control.
Max Fan Speed:
The maximum fan speed, mostly to keep fans running quieter.
Temperature LED:
Lights up when the grow room's temperature is higher than what it was set at.
