What is the LUMii 1000w Double-Ended Dual Spectrum HPS Lamp used for?

It is perfect for use during the flowering phase of plant development. It helps to provide the correct levels of UV and infrared, making it more stable than standard HPS lamps. Likewise, this lamp offers an increased PAR output of 10% in comparison to single-ended lamps. It will only need replacing once a year on average when using around 10,000 light hours.

Where can you use the lamp?

The lamp is specifically designed for use with 400v ballasts. Similarly, they should only be used with double-ended reflectors. The 400v ballasts will convert 230v mains electricity to 400v to enable your lamps to run at a higher frequency. Therefore delivering a far more intense light with a broader light spectrum. This increases growth rates and improves yield size.

How to use the lamp                                  

When fitting your double-ended bulb start by fitting the end of the bulb with the small square on it closest to your ballast. Then connect the other end of the bulb to the outer edge of your reflector. Take maximum care as incorrect fitting will cause damage to your bulb.
