A pH meter with 0.01 resolution which is highly accurate for measuring ranges of 0 - 14 pH, measuring and displaying the pH result to 2 decimals simultaneously. The large arc-edged HD LCD screen makes it easy to read the result.

USAGE:

Just remove the protective cap and immerse the PH meter electrode in the solution and turn on the PH using the "ON/OFF" switch.

CALIBRATION:

Simply follow the instruction on the provided packet of solution pH 7.00 , immerse the pH tester in the solution and adjust with the provided screwdriver to dial it in.    

WARNING:

• Be careful with the glass probe; it is fragile. 
• Remember to gently wipe the probe with a clean, soft cloth when you're done before capping it again.

pH in Hydroponics:

Plants can only use a nutrient solution if the is pH corrected. Different nutrients are absorbed in different pH levels so some hydroponic growers let their pH drift slightly, always toward alkalinity. In hydroponics, the ideal range for most plants is between 5.2 to 6.2, although some plants prefer extremes in acidity or alkalinity. It is always best to use pH water stabilisers when adjusting the pH of a solution. Always adjust the pH AFTER adding nutrients. Tap water is usually alkaline and the pH can range from 6.8 to 8.2, depending on the local water source.
